Soft Introduction of Malangwa
Malangwa is a Municipality of the Sarlahi District. The name
Malangwa came to form the Malangbaba. Malangbaba was a saint and his
temple is in the south of Malangwa near the Malangwa-Sonbarsa (India) border.
This is a place of common harmony. In this place, both Hindus and Muslims pray
together for the Happiness of their family. Yearly a Fair is organized where
both religious people come to visit.
Geographical location
Malangwa municipality is located 25 km south of the East-west
highway of the Nawalpur Section. The area of Malangwa is approximately
30.44sqkm. The population of Malangwa is Nearly 47,000. Malangwa shares its
boundary with these places

Education Situation
In the past, it was a hub for students from different villages
nearby. But now that times have changed students don’t like to study here for
higher education. They just passed the 10(SEE) and left for Kathmandu or other
Places. Very few students, or students from poor backgrounds study here some
campuses in Malangwa municipality provide +2 and bachelor courses but neither
parents nor students like to study here. Sarlahi campus was one of the famous
campuses in the past. Likewise, there is another campus Modern Science Campus,
Padma Ratna Vidya Mandir etc
Places to Watch
Although the Malangwa municipality is not a tourist destination,
there are some local places that people usually like to visit. The first name
is Chameli Mai Temple. This Is a Famous Temple in the whole sarlahi District.
The temple lies on Malangwa-Nawalpur road. The other places are Bhagwati
Sthan(Temple), Ram Mandir, Malangbaba Temple, Baba Saheb Temple, etc
Transportation
Malangwa municipality is well connected by the different parts of
Nepal. Daily, more than 10 nights of buses leave for Kathmandu. You will also get
direct services for Birgunj, Janakpur, Barhatwa, Narayanghat, Biratnagar,
Hetauda, etc.
